Pet Friendly Turf

This project included the installation of Pet Friendly Turf, Douglas Fir Bark and Black Steel Metal Edging.

This home was previously landscaped with 3/4” crushed gravel. The homeowner dreamed of a clean, low maintenance living area for their dog and toddler. After removing many wheel barrows full of rocks and dirt we began filling the area with 4” of class 2 road base and 1” of 3/8” crushed granite. The artificial turf features 80oz of wight and maximum drainage to minimize smell. Envirofill and odorzorb were used to infill the turf providing antimicrobial and antifungal properties creating a clean low maintenance landscape. Complimented with Black steel metal edging and Douglas fir bark this landscape transformed into a sustainable outdoor living space,

Sub Base: 4” of Class 2 road base and 1” of 3/8'“ crushed granite

Turf: Approx. 487 sq ft. of Pet friendly, cool flo, pro flo. 15 degree cooler turf with maximum drainage to minimize smell.

Landscape Edging: Powder coated black steel metal landscape edging.

Mulch: Approx. 115 sq ft. of 1-2” Douglas fir bark. Best mulch option for fruit trees as it keeps the soil protected from light, retains moisture content and takes the longest to break down
